The Star Wars Literary Guild goes evil

1997
There are of course too many people to thank for their (mostly unknowing) role in helping us create the tales of the Star Wars Literary Guild, but at least a few ought to be mentioned:

First of all, we like to thank George Lucas for creating the Star Wars universe, along with all the many others - producers, special effects people, stuntmen etc. - who made the films possible.

A special thanks also to all the actors who breathed life into all the characters, including (in no particular order): James Earl Jones, David Prowse, Julian Glover, Ken Colley, Michael Culver, Dennis Lawson, Jeremy Bulloch, Peter Cushing, Michael Pennington, Caroline Blakiston, Bruce Boa, Alex McCrindle, Dermot Crowley, Michael Sheard as well as Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Billy Dee Williams and Peter Mayhew and last but not least Brigitte Kahn at the Ion Control

Additionally, we like to thank Kati Ylitalo, our knowledgable medical advisor, various of our friends who (still) have to listen to us explain that it was all Obi Wan Kenobi's fault, Markus Greif und Norbert Prack for letting their beards grow for story-related studies.

Many thanks also to Cordula Simon for lots of things including the fun hours of drawing 'Krieg der Sterneee' (see Juvenalia).

A warm thank you also to all the people we begged, bullied and arm-twisted to join the Cult of Piett so we would get promoted. Our thanks also to Grand Admiral Scott Hayden for creating the Cult of Piett in the first place and providing us with the information about the convention in London.

We'd also like to thank the brewers of beer in Britain and Ireland, the purveyors of Bulgarian, Rumanian and Croatian wine with highly inspirational names, as well as the pubs of York, including The Judge's Lodging, The Hole in the Wall, The Old White Swan, The Minster Inn and many more.

Many thanks also to the people who have told us how much they liked our stories. (Yes, the Praise for the Star Wars Literary Guild is genuine.)

Last but not least we would like to thank everybody who we forgot to thank before.
